Hampton Park Terrace

Hampton Park Terrace is a residential neighborhood in the northwest corner of the city of Charleston, SC. Once a community deeply rooted in agriculture, this suburban area is a nice alternative from the fast-paced environment of downtown Charleston. Hampton Park Terrace shares its borders with North Central to the east and Westside to the south. Built in 1912, Hampton Park Terrace has retained many of its original historic buildings, which has earned it a place on the National Register in 1997. The historic neighborhood also celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2012.
